BW Energy Houston office proudly participated in the 9/11 Day Meal Pack initiative, a nationwide effort organized by the nonprofit 9/11 Day. Together with volunteers across 25 cities, we took part in packing over 9 million meals for individuals and families facing food insecurity, including military veterans.
On the anniversary of September 11, we reflected on a day that profoundly impacted the United States. In its aftermath, a remarkable spirit of unity and compassion emerged. To honor that spirit, and through the efforts of the 9/11 Day organization, September 11 has been designated as a National Day of Service and Remembrance.
This mission inspired millions to rekindle the spirit of unity and compassion that emerged after 9/11, and perform a good deed and other acts of service in tribute to the 9/11 victims, survivors, first responders, and members of our military who bravely rose in service in response to the attacks.
Together, we turned a day of tragedy into a day of doing good
